My New Venture into iOS!

Hello folks,

Today I will start on a new personal project, in which I am going to learn a lot about Sprite Kit / Unity by creating my first iOS Game! There will be a series of steps I will have to take to achieve this goal of mine, and I will be posting about it every step of the way.

As of now, I do not know the theme, but I have a few ideas cooking and will have to do some research about the best route to take. I can tell you that it will be a solo project, pixel art style, and it will have multiple mini games in one application. The reason I am doing this is because I want to branch out in the mobile game industry and get an idea of what I would like to specialize in. I'm new to pixel art, and I'm learning more about it every day. Here is a self portrait! Click the image to see all of it.

- How many views/screens do I need?

- Preparation

- Developing fundamentals

- Developing structure

- Xcode

- Start the coding journey

- Refine code

- Layout, constraints, test in simulator

- Prototyping

- Bug fixing

- Sound

- Test on iOS device

- Beta test

- Submit

- Submit to App Store for test flight

- Hype the game

- Release version 1.0 to public

I've probably forgotten a few things in these steps, but it will be updated as I go along. Like I said, this is my first attempt at creating a game, and there will be mistakes along the way, but the best thing I can do is accept them and learn from them.
